Omar Apollo, alternative singer-songwriter hear throb, came out with his first studio album, Apolonio, on Friday, October 16. The nine song-long album featured some previously released singles, as well as five new songs. If you’re a fan of alternative music, Latin music, or Kali Uchis, be sure to check this out.
2. Miley Cyrus’s Cover of “Zombie” by The Cranberries
If you aren’t currently on the Miley Cyrus train, you’re probably unaware of her recent trend in covering slightly older rock songs. She first caught everyone’s attention with her cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass,” and now she’s back, with a cover of “Zombie” by The Cranberries. She performed the song at Whisky a Go Go for the Save Our Stages Fest.
3. King Princess, “Only Time Makes It Human”
King Princess just dropped a new single, “Only Time Makes It Human,” on Friday, October 16. It’s an upbeat song that was produced by King Princess herself, as well as Mike Malchicoff and Mark Ronson.
